Do you celebrate a day for mothers?
This weekend we are celebrating Mother's Day. A day to remember what is special about our moms. We celebrate Father's Day in June. Do you celebrate any special family days in China?

Snack at our schools
The Nanjing kindergarten students wonder, "Do American children eat hamburgers for snack? We eat rice milk and biscuit each day."
The Springside girls made a list of different foods we eat for snack at school. Some of the foods we eat are: bagels and cream cheese, apple slices, bananas, graham crackers, pretzels, milk, and juice. We don't eat these all every day. We usually have a choice of two.
Here are some photos of us at snack time.

We have fun on our playground
We like to play outside on our playground. Do you have a playground? Does it have a slide? Does it have swings? Do you have a playground in your neighborhood?
